I have always worn muted colours except for footwear and glasses. One year I came across the most incredible walking/winter boots that were red swede with a black tongue and laces. I certainly grabbed those. Yes, everyone commented. They sure stood out in the snow! I've also had my version of red shoes (fuchsia) and again yes people did call them 'fuck me' shoes. I also noticed people commented on other shoes I wore, purple or green for instance. They seem to notice the colour of footwear.
Since writing this I’ve reminded myself that I have red frames for my glasses and I’ve had a couple if red cars. Your red suede boots sound awesome, I do love the contrary of red, black and gold.
Ooh! I love walking in your shoes, Lynn! 😘
Make sure they don’t trip you up 😂👠
